Author | Dynamic factions and builds |
During the past mixed and paired tournaments I've been paired with several players of the same or higher combat level who play badly. But playing bad doesn't always ruin the whole battle. Factions and builds with a straight-forward strategic plan seems less vulnerable. A dwarf (might build) who doesn't understand how to use the runes properly is a much worse team mate than a might DE or knight in my opinion.
Which factions and builds are the most dynamic ones for higher level players? Is dwarf, demon and necro offering a more dynamic play due to their interesting abilities than for example DE, knight and elf? |
Well, truth betold, i haven't seen a single Might Demon in the last 50 cg points i earned.
They are interesting, but kinda suck at playing as a team :(
Yeah, dwarfs and necro are obviously more fun to play with as they need to strategy to play.
De simply need to rush ahead -_- |
Knight is hard to play, I wouldn't put him in the same category as elf and DE. |
DEs aren't as easy to master either...I can have a darkness-def build, an offence-rapid, ch-mage, or a tactic-might...
bereft of any tanks like guards, we have to make our moves quick before being captivated by shooters.
Factions and builds with a straight-forward strategic plan seems less vulnerable. I would'nt commend that; conventionally i'd play a tactic-might, but in PvP, mage DE prove much devious. |
De simply need to rush ahead
Take that back as I'm having exams and in no position to right essays ;) |
the easiest, elf of cuz.
tribal, demon(both red and dark) are most skill-dependent factions.
dwarf need skill too, but most dwarves played brainless so we don't feel its complexity. |
for Anony-mouse:
i have a new idea about the build of red demon in team, however it need to be tested by some trials and i have little time recently. |
dwarf need skill too
yeah, must know where and when to use those runes :D |
I personally find Red Demon not good in 2v2 or 3v3. Very less meat and doesn't deal good damage. Relies on Luck. On the contrary Dark Demon is way too good. Especially after getting Abyss Demons.
Elf also turns wonderful after getting Ironroot Treefolk. Can go 100% Ranged Build. But I feel the alt will offer better PvP game play so on the long run I'm vouching for Elf. |
I think red demon is underestimated, partly because it's not so easy to find the best strategy. It's not at all obvious when and where to gate and of course different opponents requires different strategies. |

a more defensive build would be better for red demons. The power of defensive red demons have been proven in 1v1 duels already. However in group battles Dark Demon is way too good so no one would like to use red demons. |
I think red demon is underestimated,
red demon has a terrific chaos build at 18+
hellfire + last breath ;) |
demon's chaos build is awesome |
That's just crazy galabar, not till lv16 atleast
Dark Demon is way too good so no one would like to use red demons.
not really, i have tried it often. They lack meat to survive for long.
my current ideal build,
57 cerberi
29 mistresses
16 horses
4 caves
Total just 3000 hp. not enough at all
+ demons have low defense. so if enemy team wants you dead, you are basically dead |
I don't know what you mean every faction and build needs to be played correctly now kind of what the early post where some builds are hard to play but once you understand how to play against more factions you start to win more its all about the person playing not the build the build is just for uniqueness |
Go home exp.
Run fast.
Different factions are over-powered at different levels.
once you understand how to play against more factions
You basically don't, since you basically can't |
I think there is one person from every level and faction and build that could disagree |
But not from every class -_- |
