Sorry but I'm not understanding. Is there a reletion between the attack, defence and damage? I mean, does +x attack increase +y damage and +z defense decrease by -q the damage taken?
Thank you. |

i didnt understand your formula
according to post 2 formula,
increasing your attack will result in increasing of final damage(creature damage remain the same) while increasing your defense will decrease damage taken. |
I mean: if I get +2 attack, do my troops get (for example) +10% dmg? If I get +2 defence, do my troops get -10% dmg taken? |
no..all damage is based on that formula |
Ok, I thought there was a better way than "I want more dmg, +6 attack, I want less dmg, +6 defence"! |
Attack and Defense is not as such significant... But Attack of the attacking stack and its damage output depends on the defense of the target... There its significance is only relative.
How to calculate damage caused by A with X attack on B with Y defense is given by the above formula. |
Each parameter of attack or defence will increase your units status, like your fsl.
If you have a total +12 attack with parameter + fsl, and the unit base stats is 6, so this unit will increase his attack parameters to 18 (6 + 12 = 18)
If this unit with 18 attack, attack a unit with 20 defence, so their damage will be decreased in 10%.
If it attack a unit with 15 defence, will increase 15%
With same parameter, no changes will occur on dmg output. (Unless there's talents involved, such offensive/defensive)
On third case, the dmg will be multiplied by the numbers of creatures in the stack.
Basicly is this... |
Ok, so the dmg modification is: (A - D) * 5 / 100, right?
The formula is too complicated for me, sorry! ^^" |
The formula posted in #2 will give you the correct result and it is in as simple a form as possible.
Using another formula will not do this.
I think there are some damage calculation scripts or webpages where you just enter the key figures and it works the rest out for you though I can't remember where I saw this. Maybe someone else will post here. |
