| Whenever i use fireball on neutral creatures then dmg done is 153 but when the same fireball hits my magi then dmg done is 62..So wats the reason for this?? |
| magi is not considered neutral, so you don't get bonus to neutral damage on them. |
The normal damage your hero does with fb is 81.
Fireball is an area spell. When cast on neutrals, you make damage: 81 *17/9 = 153.
When cast on units led by a hero, without faction resistance, you make damage 81.
However, your magi are of wizard faction, thus faction resistance applies. Your wiz level is 8, so is magi's and thus, 8*3% faction resistance applies when you bomb them. That is the damage you do on your own magi with fireball will be 81 *(1-24%)= 62. |
But with basic chaos magic dmg done by fireball will be
9+9*(spell power)
So 9+9*8 =81
So hw come 62 dmg??
Is it because of faction resistance??
For 8 fps resistance will be 24%
So dmg done will be 76/100*81=61.56 viz 62 dmg
Plzz correct me if m wrong.. |
