| I think this effect applies only to PvP combats. Caravans and contest grounds are PvE. But I'm not 100% sure. |
it does not work against caravans
but it does work if you catch a player.
Also if you have a shared hunt it works too, but not in solo hunts.

No, it only works when there's at least one other player, so it will work int PvP, hunt assists, double ambush, etc. |

but does it only work if I see a player fo the faction that I currently play? for example I do a 2x2 as elf lvl 3 and I drank the potion.
multiple scenarios:
1) elf3 + nec12 vs de10 + barb11
2) elf3 + nec12 vs elf11 + barb10
3) elf3 + elf10 vs nec10 + nec 12
what would be the faction level after drinking the potion in the above cases?
To me the explaining text seems to imply that only in scenario 2 I get elf temp10 all other I remain elf3 |
