No, because:
1 You can't place runes on your stacks before the fight, as you do with min arts.
2. You also have a limited number of runes you can use, so you have to decide what rune to use for each stack. Once a rune is used, it get's "destroyed", unless you have the spare rune talent witch gives you an additional rune of that type.
3. You can use only 1 rune per stack |

As Pantheon said, to see the runes the player needs Dwarf faction level 1. At faction level 1 the rune can only be applied to a stack which has lost 1 troop. |
