AuthorDamage by enchanted jewels
I was wondering how to calculate the extra damage inflicted by enchanted jewels, so I watched this battle:

https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=497171979

Notice the last chain lightning spell caused 5885 damage to the first stack it hit .. by looking at the talents tata80 had in that battle, they were mainly Expert chaos magic and Expert sorcery.

By referencing the spells page reference:
https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=31
The chain lightning spell's damage is calculated as:
19+19*Spell power
Since tata80 had 31 spell power, then the spell's damage is:
19+19*31 = 608

By looking at the magic modification, it's 67.2% .. this has increased damage from 608 to 5885!

So, back to my initial question: how can I calculate the damage inflicted by enchanted jewels?
It's a hunt, she has wiz damage bonus.
Oh! you're right! .. based on the formula:
[final damage]=[normal damage]*(2+[faction skill level])/2;
is enchanted effect included in the normal damage and then final damage is calculated?

Most likely she was FL 9 in that hunt, so formula would be:
5885=[normal damage]*5.5 => [normal damage] = 1070 which is the damage with 67.2% extra effect!
please note that when multiplying, you can swap multiplicators freely.

so your calculation is right

[base damage]*[wiz FSL formula]*[ench bonus]

but it would be right as well to calculate in this way:

[base damage]*[ench bonus]*[wiz FSL formula]
