if i invite a player and he got enough xp to be level 16, will i be rewarded for invite him when level 16 will be implemented?
or is the gold lost?
has anybody experiences from older level-implementations?

Yes. Otherwise you'd have the same problem when someone gets more XP through ST before level up. | Jut in case you'd want to see something more "real" than the example I gave :
This guy invited many guys here, if you're lucky you'll see a significant increase in his gold when level 16 comes :
