Can I give him some gold at lv3 for free | If you guys share IP then better not.
Otherwise there is rule to max gift
These are:
3.14. There are limits for transfers intended as presents or loans. Maximum size of debt that can be owed to all other players in total is 20,000 * [Combat level] gold. The maximum term for loans is 1 month, unless the comments to the transfers state a shorter period.
3.14.1. Transfers made without comments are considered presents and fall under the rule 3.15. Commenting on all loan transfers is compulsory; returning owed property also requires a proper comment. If you intend a transfer to be returned, you must make a 1 gold transfer with proper comment to accompany your transfer, if necessary.
This rule was introduced on November, 10, 2010.
3.15. Presents must not exceed 10,000 gold * [Combat level of the grantor] + 250 * [Diamonds obtained by the grantor through donations] per month.
3.15.1. Transfers for the reason of leaving the game etc. are forbidden. Empire is the only character for liquidation transfers | for you case

eg:
10000*2+250(0)
assume you didnt donate diamond
so maximum gold you could give is 20000 | and keep a special eye on:
"3.15.1. Transfers for the reason of leaving the game etc. are forbidden."
if you make a large (and legal) transfer, but then you stop playing, it could be later considered financial assist and the transfer recipient will be penalised. |
