Author | Roulette addiction |
I would just like to comment on the multitude of people on LWM that are addicted to roulette. These guys are seriously gambling addicts and there are tonnes of them here. These desperate, groveling, pretty much pathetic gamblers will have even bigger issues in real life if they area already addicted to virtual gambling in a game. |
Send them to the gulags! |
Hear hear! |
I think that at least if they are gambling virtual money, not going out to an actual casino and losing real money which could be spent on diamonds ! |
it not the money for which most bet but the thrills |
it not the money for which most bet but the thrills
im pretty sure its mostly for the money... |
i have pretty much money but i do it for thrill |
Pff! Judgemental much? It's not real money. Their addiction to roulette is no worse than your (our) addiction to Lords of War and Money. |
Hey, these are real people with real problems. They can't go without roulette. Even when they lose all their money and someone gives them a tiny loan to save them, they gamble it away all over again. They literally can't live without gambling. These people most likely have issues in real life as well and are serious problem gamblers.
For Geryon: We are not addicted. Can you go a month without LWM? Sure! A year? No problem! These addicted people cannot stop gambling away.It really is quite sad. |

so, we should ban the roulette? or ban those people addicted to roulette? or don't give ppl loans? what do u need? Do you have to worry about them? |
For joechue
I think you need to get a sense of proportion? ;) |
man this is a game so i bet
IN REAL LIFE I AM NOT MAD |
Shashwat, when you play roulette, you get used to it XD
P.S
I am just kidding :P |
I'm not suggesting anything. We're just having a discussion to state our views on this matter, TJ.
For warwick, online addiction to gambling is such that it promotes real-life addiction, where the thrill is even greater. I'm not reacting extremely here but on LWM, it is like in real life as these addicts do taint our community. They plague us with unreturned loans, griefing, begging, etc. This turns the community into a less pleasant and helpful one so they're actions affect us as well. Not being extreme here. :P |
Hi Joechue.
I do actually agree with you and i have said in a previous thread long ago that "roulette" does not belong in this game. The tower card game is sufficient.
I just feel some of your language and conclusions are a bit OTT. :)
Cheers

And who told you that what people do here, is what people really do in their real life ?
I never fought a Pit Lord in my whole life (would like the challenge though).
I know only one guy who plays on casino and gambles here on roulette and guess what, he is winning a big much out of it. |
While I do not play Roulette myself, or lend/give gold to those who do, I feel that everyone should play the game which yields the most fun for them.
Everyone should be able to play according to their preferences, as long as they follow the rules, without anyone passing judgement or calling them names.
You only have the right to judge or call them gambling addicts (in private messages) if and when they hit you up for your own hard-earned gold. Otherwise, live and let live. |
They literally can't live without gambling.
And you know that how?
These people most likely have issues in real life as well
Again, what makes you the authority on this subject? |
I'm addicted to the roulette here but i've never done it in real life even though i've been to a couple of casinos. |
i go to local hukkah station regularly where u can play poker and bet money
i have never done it due to ethical reasons but its not real life here |
