Now is there anyone who can do something to stop people who use scripts to sell resources?
To whom can i make complaint about that?
It really makes me insane.
Now if admins gave up of this server then they should tell us that, loud and clear.
So we can go and play some other game, where we can play without cheaters.
Or some game where we can see that administration is at least trying to give us fair game.
For months i read people complain about scripts, and i dont remember seeing that someone was blocked for that.
Does anyone have some information regarding that?
If someone was punished why doesnt admins say that?
I guess if few people were blocked for that it would make people reconsider twice before using scripts.
Make few exmples of scripts users, i bet it will have effect. |
dmins blocked a huge amount of scipt users on ru, they were presented on a list.
the hammer of judgement hasn`t reached this server yet, but after this merge everything will change for sure. |
Yeah, it makes one crazy to think that, you as a non-script user wait for a long time and buy a nickel, to sell your ore and lumber. But then you see that all the money is gone. Some script has sold everything before you even say back.
I really like this game. It allows me to play the game at my own pace. I hope something will be done about this soon. Just a wish with not much hope. Just a little though ....... |

| I don't think its possible to sell resources through scripts untill you have that mine or production facility page open all day long, which normally noone does. I mean who would like to keep facility page open instead of playing battles and all.... or is it possible ?? |

| for spicydevil: I ,as a programmer, know that it is possible you would just need to make the page reload every 5 seconds in a separate tab and then just battle in another tab. It wouldn't be that hard to make. |

yea i also as a programmer know its possible to have such script which can make page refresh and can sell resources but read it again what i said

well @nyt some people go to sleep & some of them leave the pc on @ mine page

the time he/she has to do some other work the mine page can me kept refreshing through scripts
but i don't know for sure whether scripts can help in selling resources

| If it was for ru server where you need to be really fast to enroll or sell resources i would understand but for a slow server like com who needs such scripts....Its really lame and ofcourse disgraceful to do such thing.... |

If you have seen such script in action, you would not underestimate its usefulness. This guy that I reported was selling about 400 wood, 600 ores, and 200 mercury a day, and it took no effort on his part whatsoever. You can do the math.
As I said before, this is the worst form of cheating in this game. With financial assist and illegal transfer, at least their record is there for anyone to see. Plus, they're not really robbing anyone else. But with illegal scripts, it's hard to detect, and when detected, unless the admin investigates immediately, these cheaters can hide their trace completely. And their gain would be at other people's expense. |

Allowed scripts are ones which dont impact on server load or give you an unfair advantage, for example there are scripts which show your profit after tax when posting on the market or let you store some preset talent or recruiting settings. These just let you easily set things up as you like them with a couple of mouse clicks to make things easier but dont let you do something which anyone else without a script can also do.
Illegal scripts are those which put a big load on server or as mentioned above let you use up all gold in a facility as soon as someone buys from it by selling your resources. These scripts hurt all the honest players and the people using them have a massive unfair advantage while those without can almost never sell their surplus stock or even enroll (unless the facility is full of all stock types). |

On the contrary, no illegal script user has been blocked, as far as I know. The guy that I reported is still playing right now. Luckily, he stopped using the script after he found out that he's been discovered.
The guy is extremely rich for a level-10 player. He has a 5-star estate, a full infernal set, and full castle in 6 factions.
I guess it does pay to cheat sometimes. |
| They most certainly should be blokced. is this the reason why a few days ago it was impossible to enroll in the lab at yellow lake ? always they would show the facility deviod of money |
