AuthorHow do skeletons work?
#1 I have 160 skeletons recruited (95 from reserve and 3500 remaining in the reserve). In the combat, I won against undead and 50 skeletons died. What happens to my reserve?

#2 In the combat after all the skeletons have died, what if I raised my skeletons back to full 160 using the spell? Do I lose skeletons from my reserve after winning the combat? (against undead)

#3 How is the number of skeletons I get determined after a successful/unsuccessful combat?
#3 How is the number of skeletons I get determined after a successful combat?
#0 The foot bone con-nected to the leg bone,
The leg bone connected to the knee bone,
The knee bone connected to the thigh bone,
The thigh bone connected to the back bone,
The back bone connected to the neck bone
The neck bone connected to the head bone

#1 you lost some reserve skeletons. since you won, you probably also gained some skeletons.

#2 you don't loose them if you resurrected them.

#3 if you loose, you get 0 skeletons. If you win, the number of skeletons is proportionate to the hp of your opponent.
Thanks. Could someone provide a bit more elaborate answer for #1 and #3 please.

In #1 I lost 50 skeletons. So do I lose 50 skeletons from my reserve after a successful combat against undead? Or do I get since you won, you probably also gained some skeletons?
No, you don't get skeletons from winning a necromancer. You lost your 50 skeletons from reserve in #1.

I don't know for #3, sorry. It depends on the total HP of the enemy you killed, so you could count the HP you killed and compare it to the skeletons you got and you'll have your answer. Note that you get 5 times less skeletons from PvE.
for Hallion91:
I would not be so sure with this You lost your 50 skeletons from reserve in #1.

At least in TG when I lose only part of recruited skeletons (from reserve) are lost. I don't know what % it is I just know it is not 100%
You mean you lose less than this ?

[Total Skeletons] - [skeletons you can recruit as FSL0 necromancer]
Lastly when I played TG with 253 skeletons (130 from reserve I think) only 17 were lost after combat (if I was defeated) - or maybe it was when I was only 6th fsl so only 95 skeletons from reserve were recruited, I am not sure now but it is not so important
for Hallion91:
Yes

I guess I have another question:

#4 Will I lose skeletons from my reserve in a successful combat against undead if the number of lost skeletons is less than the number of skeletons I can recruit as Necromancer FSL 0 which is 65?
I see, I got it wrong then. But I still don't get why they'd do it like this lol :D

I think that in that case you don't lose from reserver Divit.
Actually in fsl 0 you can't recruit skeletons from reserve, so you definitely don't lose, but what I mean is that in general such cases you don't lose skeletons. I think
Looks like #4 is an extension of #1....

I've recruited full 160 skeletons of which 95 are from reserve and the other 65 are the skeletons I can recruit as Necromancer FSL 0(the default amount at level 8).
Now I've lost 50 skeletons in a successful combat against undead, which is less than 65. So will I lose skeletons from from my reserve or will I lose them (from reserve) only if skeletons lost are greater than 65?

And 3# is only partly answered....
It is fairly easy for you to track. Check how many skeletons you have in reserve before battle, count how many you have left alive (including raised) at end of combat. Check how many you received from combat. Re-check how many you now have in reserve.

Though you will probably find like most of us who have tried that the numbers do not really make sense (whether you won or lost), but good luck anyway.

To put it in perspective though. Except for 100 or so skeletons I bought at around level 4 I have not bought any since, also sold a few 100 and still have just over 90k in reserve. So you are not likely to run out unless you only do STs or lose ambushes.
1)
in combat you lost 50 skels. this means - 75% of them are really lost.
the rest, 13 skels, get restored.
so, 37 skels are taken from your reserve to replenish the number of skels ready for battle.
in your reserve stay 3463 skels.

2)if you have the same amount of skels at the end of the combat - you won`t lose any.

3)after a successful combat you raise skels from dead opponent`s troops. the amount depends on your skill level and is proportional to the creature`s health points, from which you raise them.
the exact formula is unknown.

if you lost - see answer 1.
since you won, you probably also gained some skeletons.

In this case, some == 0. He clearly said winning against Undead.

Undead, elemental and mechanical creatures cannot be transformed into skeletons.

From Takesister:

If I remember correctly:

If you lose - all the reserve recruited for that battle is lost.

If you win in PVP - all the perished reserve is lost. Reserve skeletons perish first.

If you win in PVE - 25% of the perished reserve is lost. Reserve skeletons perish first.

So if you recruited 95 from reserve, and you won a hunt but all skeletons died, then only 24 is lost.

Thanks for all the answers. QATC.
