If you people don't know about what is KONY thing is :
Joseph Kony is the leader of a gang in the African region. The name of his rebel group is LRA (Lords Resistance Army)
What has he done ? Why is he getting so famous worldwide :
He captures children from their families , gives the boys guns and makes the girls prostitutes , makes the children kill their own family. He has more than 30,000 children captured who are not educated which means they will do what he says , this person needs to be captured.
How am I helping by posting this stuff here :
KONY can only be captured if his name is spread worldwide , how did Osama bin laden got captured ? The world knew about him.
Right now 99% of the whole earth doesn't know who this guys is!

It was 4 hours. Calm down.
What I'm pissed about is how 1 villain gets celebrity status, he gets all these people saying to bring him down. It might even work.
Everyone pats themselves on the back, job well done, but all the conditions that led to the villain, in this case Kony, coming to power are still there, and in a few days, a new villlain will be there but without the media coverage.
There's no point getting Kony if you don't solve the underlying problem. Hasn't Vietnam, Afghanistan for USSR and USA taught anyone anything? |
