PvP is very well balanced, especially 2x2
I do agree that demon is a bit weak and could use a "little" buff |

each level has it's heroes in PvP.
from certain extend, it was the level gap problem. some factions has better advantage in PvP but that doesnt mean it was imbalance. thing change after level 8.
looking into PvE would be a good way to find out which faction is better in some combats.
even in hunts, you wont see the best faction for that. you can only get a better faction in certain hunts. elf and DE is better in huge low tier hunt while wiz is better in hunt with high def creature. |

| I dont get all the demon bashing. I think they are actually pretty good. I also suspect that playing demon takes a little more strategy than other factions so it gets a bad rap. |

Advanced tip: Focus on atleast 3 factions (Not at start of course, but as long of the game) Because you will have some resistance when you play against same faction you have some fsp...
Only userfull for pvp players of course...
About your question... Elvens are more simple to play, have a powerfull range, is the best faction at level 5 - 7, don't have much enemy factions...
Demons, they are more strategical, more hard to play, and is a pain make settle + gate on almost every hunt you gonna do... But it's more strong than Elfs, if you play right of course, if you play wrong... Will be useless... |
elves rely on luck and critical strikes. they`re very weak in terms of health and durability. they`re only good when facing slow troops, especially without archery.
demons are probably harder to play. but with the gating ability you can:
1. instantly place your gated troops near the opponent (so that they can start to attack him without moving across the entire battlefield and will be supported by approaching real troops)
2. block hostile shooters
3. create a wall around your real troops and block the way for coming infantry
4. take retaliation from enemies with gated creatures and start attacking with real ones
the only problem is that you might not have any time to create any at all, if the opponent is a swift rusher or wizard.
but anyway, you will have not only additional tactical opportunities, but also bonus in form of `meat` and damage. |
