1- Basic Sorcery (Talent):
Does a Hero get 10% every turn he/she casts a spell?
That means that his initative will change from
10, to 11.1, 12.2... Right?
And what happens if he stops casting spells?
His Initiative goes back to 10, or stays being the
same as before?
2- It happens to me a lot that my Mino is alone
in the battleground against an Ogre in a PvP, and
when the hero stuns me, my mino keeps having his turn
sometimes...
How come? His hero has got higher initiative
than my Mino, and he's suppose to remove all Mino's
accumulated initative.
3- What's the difference between pushing a troop
back 0.3 in the ATB bar, and removing 30% of his
accumulated initiative?
If you explain with the runner's example in the
Admins' thread, better.
4- What's the abbreviation for Initative? :D

I know its a lot but its important for me to know this.

he's suppose to remove all Mino's
accumulated initative. - wrong. barbarian stuns only for 0.2 on the ATB-scale.
casters also about 0-0.3. no one is able to to remove all Mino's
accumulated initative.
3- What's the difference between pushing a troop
back 0.3 in the ATB bar, and removing 30% of his

0.3 on the atb-scale - instant effect, no matter what position the target troop has on the ATB-scale right now.
removing 30% of his accumulated initiative means that the trget troop loses 30% of his position on the ATB-scale. for example, the mino nearly gets his turn (is on 0.9 of the ATB-scale) and he gets stunned to 0.63 on the ATB-scale. | 1 no: turn will be moved forward the ATB by 10%, then when his turn comes, he's back to normal unless he cast another target spell.
2 looses all accumulated initiative, doesn't mean goes negative. If your mino has higher ini than ogre, because he has moved to 0 as well (he has attacked), you will be the next to move, so the knockback isn't visible. If you didn't get the knockback, probably you would get a double hit next.
3 you can accumulate more or less than 0.3. If you just moved, and you loose 30% of accumulated initiative, you loose close to nothing. If your turn is coming next, and loose the same 30%, you can get kicked far away.
The 0.3 pushback isn't dependant on accumulated initiative: even if you just moved, you will still get pushed further away. However, because of high Ini, some troops will loose close to no turns in this case (they accumulate too high an amount).

Please, read the knockback description. | for guyb:
he spoke about the hero, not the ogre.
an ogre kicks mino back to 0, and like you said, the mino with higher ini gets his turn before the ogre though.
but barbarian kincks only to 0.8 on the atb. | #5
good point. Misread, sorry. | Very good explanation, thx :) | closed by Lord -Malik- (2012-02-05 22:30:04) |
