| the previous year, their set were so expensive.. but now seem to be cheaper. but it suppose to be the other way round coz the cost of getting thief invintation is expensive. so it is consider hard to get those weapon now.. wat u guys think ? |
| The answer is simple. Supply > demand so prices drop. There's hardly any point in buying thief set since there aren't many times you would need it. The only ones that are worth buying are the amulet and dagger. |
The empire sold 10 TGIs via auctions.
There was a surge of new thieves.
Now these thieves are about level 3-4 and have looted about 30-40 items.
This produced a temporary surplus of thief items.
I think Thief item market has already reached bottom and the prices have been climbing back up for the last 2 months. |
There are many reason
1.after CL 12 TG set is actually useless, so high level players not interested for full set
2.New shop arts are better than most of the TG items
3.other sets are introduced
4.Due to Ambush battle ground enlargement,very rare thief are now using TG set in ambush or GB |

I really doubt that the introduction of a new and better thief set will increase the value of the old thief set. |

In my opinion the thief arts are useless (except amulet and maybe dagger).
They were good for low level thiefs (6-8), but after the TG change there are nearly no low level thiefs any more. |

Thief set has only a small window of desirability, level 6-8 as someone mentioned. And it's not only for thief ambushes. Because of the +1 speed bonus, some players can (and did) set some new hunt records with it.
However, few players can afford the set at level 6-8, especially now with workaholic penalty and reduced wages. That's why it's not very useful. |
I think for thouse who want to buy the thief arts - they are very expensive. For those who want to sell - of course they are cheap. It's just the mentality of buyer and seller.
