What would be good recruitment & talent selection for a LVL 11 barb? |
| Battle fury is a must, and if you have a lot of morale then Retribution is much better then archery. Rest of points is going to single luck/morale. |
Settlement
Based on witch hammer: 0 hob, 75 Black wolf, 51 Orc chif, 2 Ogre, 10 Roc, 4 Cyl
But i think you can recruit more.
So focus on black wolf + Orc chiefs + Cyclops, rest on roc.
(You can use no ogres without problem, and use 1 stack for take ret for your melee, and rest on orc split for boost the bloodlust get, also for help getting bloodlust)
Talent:
A. Expert offensive + Fury + Archery
B. Advanced offensive + Fury + Archery + Basic leadership (best)
C. Advanced offensive + Archery + Weighty Weapons + Thruest might |
Depends on what you are doing.
Any combat where units group together, such as caravans, the barb racial talent, double damage for hero, is a must have. Battle Fury is always a must have no matter what you are doing. |

for Decaywolf: Orcs will get bloodlust regardless of which unit you use to kill the stack...
for Konan_D: Why is it you don't take battle fury? I think I would take max wolfs and whatever ogres remaining. It's hard to say from that battle, as most of the damage was dealt only with your ranged units... |

DecayWolf, then either I (and Slust) have misunderstood you or you have misunderstood the game.
Chance, you don't have to repeat.. your previous post is recent enough. Also there's no need for someone to reply you quickly as you aren't close to level 10 yet.
Betweens guards or orc chiefs, why do you ask us? It depends which faction you'll be playing more during the time that it takes you to earn enough to buy the upgrade for the other faction.
Between orc chiefs and lvl 2 combat school, I will definitely take orc chiefs first. |

U should get orc chief fast if u want play with barb.They r quite powerful to win a battle.
But u cant compare Knight & barb as they r very different fraction & play style is also different.Guard is must for lvl 10 knight as without this upgrade u will fall behind from your opponents.
So decide which fraction u play & upgrade accordingly.
I hope u got Combat school lvl 1 & its enough for hunt.Combat school lvl 2 is useful if u play PVP battles. |

for decay-wolf:
orcs get bloodlust even if it ogres or wathever that kills the stack.
unless your allies(pvp and vanguard) make the last hit, you wont get the bloodlust. else even you kill with hero, you will get bloodlust |
