| I think there should be an extra slot for when your setting up your troops. There are only seven slots now but people who use their troops as a wall or to take retal without losing to many of them for example losing a stack of 1 recruit is better than losing a stack of 20 |
7 maximum stacks are part of balancing.
Just raising it to 8 or even higher is 1st not so easy i guess, and 2nd it will take much balance fixing.
It's a big difference for lvls around 8 when elves and wizards have their spellcasting units. Each additional stack increases the damage significantly.

| If it ever gets introduced, probably only higher lvl players would have access. For example many lvl 14 players are forced to not recruit a tier of creatures. No, I don't mean merely not using a tier that has 0 creatures, but purposely not using the ~10 leftover troops. |
