Author | what rule break is this |
https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1907463 so i searched though the forum rules and my friend searched the general rules no such rule exists so i am curious which rule did this break? as i dont wanna break this rule and players need to be informed if new rules are being written as we speak |
Sorry, but forum rule 5.1:
5.1. Administration's actions and decisions are not subject to discussion.
Better to ask for more details Secretary, Lexa (i am not sure they'll anwser). |
not talking about the ban just curious as to the rule break so the public may know |
Calm down yuri, luke can ask about the rule and not the action... I m searching the rule and i cannot find it as well as simple minded sage but i guess some others could find a reason...
Indeed i let this topic open as long you stay within the rule and don't speak about the action! Since you reach over the limit, ban and lock will rain.

skunder opened a topic which was going to provoke admin and the game..
Big rule was broken |
You're too yong for this information. |
young |
there is lot of deference between provocation and a joke.
That thread created for fun and to involve players to have fun. if players mis-use that, they should be banned. not the creator.
Skunder clearly mentioned in 8th post, not to cross the rules. |
We're not living in a democracy, so don't question the judgement of Empire. :P |
Perhaps a violation of the local rules?
9. Any senseless expressions are forbidden. If you are not the Administration and have nothing to say to the point - refrain from leaving messages in this forum thread.
Or rule 2.2 of the forum rules?
there is lot of deference between provocation and a joke.
If it were intended to be a joke, then perhaps it would be better suited for the off game forum? |
sorry for double post,
few month back we all received invitation from Administration clan(official clan). every one abused the power in forums, Q&H and in chat. but its a joke and its for fun.
people calling themselves Admins and all so & so things. in that times.
why cant people see this Skunders thread in a same way? |
Perhaps it could be classified under Forum Rule 3.2?
Mind you just about anything could fall under that if the Admins or Mods should choose for it to be so.
Grunge |
All in all, what grunge is saying is : Forum Rule 3.2 is so vague that it can totally be abused for biased purpose. :) I like this one |
indeed i m still wondering which one could apply atm except if one is created when "wanted"... |
5.1. Administration's actions and decisions are not subject to discussion.
wth no democracy!! :(
even admins are human. they also do mistakes!! :\ |
i ve said : focus on rules not on actions please! |
[Post deleted by moderator Patrickou // rofl, rephrase please, can be read as foul language...] |
fight with-_- |
I think forum rule 4.6
"4.6. It is forbidden to insult other players, as well as to provoke an insult."
In this case it can be termed as provoking an insult.
And for post #15 forum rule 5.2 and 1.5 are there. But i don't know how much it would help, that is if it helps at all ;)
"5.2. A moderator can be wrong. If you suspect he or she is, c.f. par.1.5."
"1.5. Moderator's actions can be disputed by putting in an application to the game Secretary (thread link and detailed description of the application cause required)." |
There might be a slight oversight happening here, but... when you are invited in someone's house, that's what you are: invited, a guest. If they offer you a chair to sit on, then you'll happily sit on it.
Do not think that if you sit on it long enough it becomes yours or you have *any* rights to it whatsoever! The host can request the chair from you at any time, and they might very well offer you no explanation at all. Just as well as they can throw you out of their own house with no reason at all (and there is nothing wrong with it...).
Because that's exactly what we are here, all of us: guests into Administration's fun-filled house. If some of us have been offered a chair to sit on, then that's what it was: offered. And just as well it can be taken away with no explanation at all.
Empire/Lexa is not your regular moderator to wonder which rule (s)he has applied! All game rules were written by Administration without having to justify themselves to anyone. And just as well they can write more at any time they wish without having to give any explanation to anyone. Or they can decide that an action, even if not written in the "rules book", is damaging to their own house, and act accordingly. Because this is their house, and when you decorate your own house you don't ask permission from the neighbors, nor the guests staying for free in your own house, nor the city mayor, nor even the president!
You don't ask for democratic decision making when you are a guest in someone else's house. The owner of the house decides whatever (s)he wishes, and will you not like it: you'r free to go!
And if you do anything that the owner considers damaging to their own house, they can very well throw you out. And there is none they have to justify themselves to.
I'm writing this message only in the hope to stop further bleeding on this issue... we are in Administration's house only because it's a fun house and they have left the doors open to anyone to enter. But none of us has any rights in here, just as well you have no entitlement when you are a guest in someone else's house.
I'm not trying to defend anyone here. I'll still poke fun of Lexa&Co any time I catch an opportunity to (cuz it's fun, and that's enough for me :))
But I hold no doubt that I am here only because I am **allowed** here. And that should be very clear-cut to anyone, even the diamond donors!
Don't forget you've made an account here to play the game and have fun. Not to acquire any power/position/privilege in this house. Now go get some fun out of it!... |
