the general complaint is, that there aren't enough events organized by the admins. (apart from the fact that there actually ARE events,) the people who are complaining are constantly pointing their fingers at the admins.
i'd say: let us do some organizing ourselves then...
only problem is, the incentive.
so my suggestion:
change, or better: remove, this rule:
3.22. Any custom combat tournaments with a prize reward and/or a participation fee are forbidden. Custom card game tournaments are allowed.
if clans would be able to hand out prizes for winning custom pvp-tourneys, there would be so much more events.... |

Incorrect, there are kind of ways around this rule so I dont think it would have too much impact, clans are governed by regular CG and GB models so it wouldnt be as slick as an admin organised tourney.
Im all for the idea though |

Don't you think that that would require an officially sanctioned rule change, thus more Admin attention here (at least in the short term)? |
+1 already should be did a long time ago.
Just need don't make combat stagged, but no one who are doing a serious tornament for freinds/clans aren't thinking on do that... |

Individual players have put a lot of thought to promote clan activity, but most of their ideas have to be discarded because of this rule. I guess I can sort of understand why admins put up this rule in the first place. Because back then, STs were more exciting (there was also the promise of more activity/events on the admin's part) and also to stop some clans from laundering money to specific players in the guise of clan tournaments. But the rule has too much of a negative effect on the rest of us.
