gift? well, we got alot cheaters telling other that they were giving gift to other. you could just dont give any 'gift' to prevent any suspicion transfer.

reading those rules is the most easy way to learn rather than ASK. FYI, breaking the rules with the excuse: 'omg, i didnt read rules. i didnt know about it' is not acceptable,
ASK only if you are not clear with the rules.

The occasional gift is okay, but regular "gifts" to the maximum allowed would likely be prosecuted under this rule.
1.13. Financial assist is forbidden in all aspects of the game. Financial assist is a dedicated assistance of one character to another in any way meant to increase the possessions of the latter.
So please don't abuse the gifting rules.
