I don't know if anyone of you think of this idea,
I always wanted to change my name.
I think my name is to childish and I want to change it,
But I can't.
I hope the administrator of LordsWM will make a new setting,
A " Change Name " setting.
I really want to change the name.

It will make all frauds harder to detect. People will do something bad and then change name so as you cannot find him without appropriate links. |

Admins have to manually alter the name in all transferlogs.
e,g, you receive gold from C and then change your name from A to B
Then if you look in the transferlog of C it will say, transferred xxx gold to A
only when you click on name A in the transferlog, it will redirect you to profile page of B
so -1 for me as well |

I would definitely like to change my name.
And for all the "INTELLIGENT PROBLEMS" people have posted above . . .
I guess it's time to increase knowledge by taking a look at other "MMORPGS" which have a function of "NAME CHANGE" and are still functioning smoothly with hackers/botters/scammers still being caught and banned. |

right now the name is the only identity a person has so changing it is banned.
But if every one was given an id no along with they name,
(for eg. Player Name: Wavern, Id No: 1002450078 )
it should be given when the id is made and never change
As the id no will be constant and unique you will be able to track the player even if he changes his name.
This will also have other benefits like when giving a complain in pm or email, give your ib no instead of user name. |
