ok, I'm a little tired so idk how well this will come out, but....
Please please please bring back TGI renting! There are currently 2 ways to get into the Thieves' Guild:
1) Save up, what, 1 mil gold? Don't know for sure, theres not even a TGI on the market atm.
2) Pay 80 Euros or $112 to get in.
The second option is an economical impossibilty for me right now, and the first one would take god-knows-how-long to achieve.
I see the Thieves' Guild as an impossible goal set before me, taunting me with its unique fights and rewards.

This is a situation that many players other than myself are in, and I'm not thinking about just myself here. |
It took me until level 12 to save up 1M to buy a TGI.
You still have plenty of time to get there.
I also see that your LG is only level 4, kinda low for a level 8. You should be 5 by now. |
Thieving is a luxury, not a requirement nor a right. That's why it's priced that high.
TGI Rentals allowed Thieving to be too common and no longer the luxury it was meant to be. It was meant for not everyone to get. |
consider it like the UCI image.. not everone can have it..
I personally have paid 1.1kk gold to the TGI.. I consider it very unfair that others get it easily after this!

Admins messed up TG system, but if this is implemented, people will be scammed, etc. I think admins should have removed TGI leasing and given only 1 TGI to each player (at TG 4) so that the prices for TGIs does not keep decreasing. Set the minimal price to 500k so that it is a luxury (500k is not easy to achieve). However, this cannot be done now because players who bought their TGIs at 1 million will lose too much money. |

It isn't very good, in my oppinion, that some players, who have registred before renting TGI, were in better conditions, that now. |

I got the 1 million . . . but after getting to 1 million, I suddenly dropped off the thought of buying a TGI . . . Idk why. |

for weekend players like myself...
getting 1kk gold is impossible for me....
but if TGI renting was reintroduced, it would also bring back lots of problems like TGI scamming and it also very very unfair to those who bought their TGI for 1kk gold... |

I know, I'm also dying to get a TGI and envious of pple who rented theirs. What I propose is instead of re-introducing TGI renting, the admins shud drastically reduce the price of TGI. It is an experience few would want to miss. |

I'm sorry you don't have the means to buy a TGI yet, SlayerOfNoobs.
But Takesister has pointed out the main reason for a -1 perfectly in her post. That, and the fact that whether we like to believe it or not, we ARE playing an online game, and admins do need at least a little income source to keep it running. Selling TGI for diamonds achieves that nicely. And unlike quite a few other 'free' games, even non-paying players can get that same benefit if they're patient enough.
Tl;DR
TGI is much like a UCI. Everyone wants one, but it's an expensive luxury, not a must-have. |
