Reprisal sword | There are a few options here:
1. If you want more initiative at the cost of defense, get leather hat instead of leather helmet, and leather jackboots instead of leather boots. That will give you +2% Ini at the cost of +2 Def.
2. I'm not absolutely positive that male characters can equip artifacts intended for female players, but if they can, then get 2 diamond rings instead of 2 rings of inspiration, diamond pendant instead of amulet of luck, aroma of spring bouquet instead of reprisal sword, and heart of flowers instead of defender shield. This combination will give you +6% Ini at the cost of 2 Def.
3. Decide if 1 more Attack is more valuable than 1 Def + 1 Ini. If so, use defender's dagger instead of heart of flowers.
4. Decide if 1 more morale is more valuable to you than 1 luck. If so, use medal of bravery instead of amulet of luck.
5. Decide if +5% ranged defense is more valuable to you than +5% ranged damage. If so, use scout's cape instead of short bow.
Personally, I think that Attack and Ini are Elf's strongest advantage at such low levels. For that reason, I am willing to sacrifice Def for extra Ini and Attack. In light of that, the best setup is:
Leather jackboots
Leather hat
Shortbow
Leather harness
Diamond pendant
2x Diamond ring
Aroma of Spring bouquet
Defender's dagger
Advantage:
+3 Attack
+3 Defense
+7% Initiative
+2 Morale
+1 Luck
+5% Ranged damage
Total cost: 290242 Gold. | Male characters can't equip arts meant for female characters.
As long as you don't use gifts, Flour's recommendations along with Xhuda's points 1,4,5 are the best way to go. |
