Does anybody have CG level 2 over on .ru? What are the points required and bonus? Or is this a feature yet to be implemented.
P.s. is there a limit to what you can loot? i.e. could you loot a fully enchanted necklace if your opponent was wearing it? (don't know if this would only be like 5 durability) This is quite a good loot.
So could i possibly have a list of loots from .ru in CG. Thanks guys |

Wow, thats not bad. Looting arts from PvE is pretty sweet and 2 primary skills. And still this is not an incentive for CG
Do we know anything about loot, I mean if you can loot your opponents gear in PvP then how do we loot in PvE?

I often see group combats been formed, in teams of 3vs3. Sometimes including neighboring levels as well. And quite often, even open to full arts. Why would they use their full arts in such random group battles instead of CGs?
My only answer is a lack of awareness about the CG goodies and advantages. Probably it's not advertised enough for people to think about using their arts in CG first, instead of random group battles.
On the other hand, CG rewards are a very veRY VERYY long term goal. I mean you get +1 primary skill also after each 2 levels of MG. You get +1 attack after *each* level of HG.
Okay you get some financial goodies from CG as the tactician artifact and looting artifacts, but you get financial advantages from MG and HG as well (elements,hunter artifacts, etc). Are those financial rewards from CG so big? Nobody knows... Anyone knows what is that probability to loot an artifact? NOPE! You may have a chance in a 100... is it worth it?
I can see somebody to make a goal from reaching MG2, say, or HG6... but CG4? That's 1400 CG points, in NOT so easy battles (not like pve's which you do in min ap)...
Say you'r doing only 3vs3 which gives most points, that's about 1.000 battles, which in average, each 3vs3 takes about 1 hour (more or less). So that's 10.000 hours of playing group battles. That makes 416 days *continuously* playing group battles in CG (no sleep, no food, no booze, no girls no nothing, just CG!...)

You have some problems with math

CG points are only awarded to the winning team. So assuming you win 50% of the time, multiply 1000 by 2, 2000 hours. |

Who cares about girls when you can get to CG lvl 4? :P
HG 6 to 7 is 800 HG points, ie 1600 hunts with assist.
7 to 8, 1000 points, ie 2000 hunts with assist.
Kinda long run planning too, without as much fun as PvP, but it's true that CG would probably benefit from some lower caps for its levels. |
Let's consider the financial aspect of getting 1400 CG points...
So far we've worked out around 2000 battles are required to attain CG 4, and each battles needs to have at least 45 AP worth of arts (that's roughly 1k per battle). So you have to spend about 2 million gold to get CG 4.
Now the time factor for the most hardcore player (who still has time for sleep, food, booze and girls). :D
*Most likely requires the cooperation of 5 other equally hardcore players to achieve*
24h a day = 7 hours sleep, 17 hours playing lordswm.
0800 - Wake up and immediately log in
0815 to 0915 - 1st fight
Let's say this person owns a estate, so his recovery is 40% faster.
0930 to 1030 - 2nd fight
...
2200 to 2300 - 12th fight
2315 to 0015 - 13th fight
0015 to 0100 - 45 minutes to enjoy booze and girls ^^
0100 to 0800 - Sleep (probably dreaming of CG battles)
13 fights a day, out of 2000.
On the 154th day, which is 5 months of nothing else but fighting in CG, this legendary guy will earn his CG4. :D |
CG is most probably still at a kind of test mode and will be nerfed/updated in the future. |

Don't forget that there might be events or tournaments that also give CG points. Of course you probably still need the high AP requirement, but with these bonusses it should be easier to get to a certain CG level. I guess that in the long run everyone who wants it will be able to reach at least CG2. As other said, at high level all guilds take a long time and a lot of gold to reach the next level. And maybe in the long run CG can become quite profitable (if there is a quite high drop rate of arts in all combats you do, after a while you can seriously reduce your high ap costs). |
Don' think I saw this explained above, but the looting is that you get a 5/5 durability copy of an artifact that your opponent has after you win in pvp.
At Rank 4, I believe I saw on the ru forums that the artifact looted (pvp AND pve) will then be 7/7 instead.
The chance of looting is similar to HG (ie, <CG rank +2> % chance of loot)

Also the repair cost is the same as the originals, so repairing isn't advised. And it sells for 1 gold only. |
So my full arts battle 'till CG1 will cost me 225k gold, to get:
3% chance of having an artifact with 5 durability.
That means each 33 CG combats (which will cost me about 50k) I will get a 5 durability item free of charge. The value of that I would estimate it around 1500 gold (generously).
To recap: I spend 50k to get 1.5k incentive. Hmmm....
Higher levels of CG will have 4-5% chance of drop, i.e., each 20 CG combats I will get 7 durability item... say value will be 2000 gold (generously). BUT! don't forget that after hundreds of CG battles I'll be higher level ==>> more expensive arts for me. So cost for each CG battle will be higher!
You know what? I would say, don't try to argue for the financial incentive, cuz.... it ain't! :)
Let's just focus on how fun it is to play balanced, fair and square group combats, and that gives fairly good fsp ratio, plus some primary skill when we gain levels, most likely to enjoy when we retire (in RL) :) |

I forgot to take into account that I might lose some of those CG combats, and the loot happens only when winning. So say I win one in two (again generously)...
