Authorhunt and color code
so. killed a red color code batch of hobgoblins.
that should mean that i gain a record not so?
however, when i look in hunt section - hobgoblins- elves lvl 2 i see that those 72 are a lot less than the record. why so?
coming from .ru game server i was used to see red dot very rarely. main question is- will or will i not get a record hunt?
second is- why was the dot red if i don't gain the record hunt?
checking the elf level 2 i ve seen 120 / 92 and 92, so if you kill 72 you won't have a medal - sorry for you.
to get a record it has to be at least red !
to get a record, your hunt should appear red with an exclamation mark (!) in it. also its on a first come, first serve basis, if you kill 72 gobs but the guy in third place killed 72 gobs before you did, you do not get the medal
#3 and #4 you "can" have a record with other color than red dot. As long as you are not beatten the record will stay. Keep in minds records are not forever, someone "can" always beat you.
red dot color = 1st place record
any other color could be a 2nd or 3rd place record, but it doesn't have to be.
the colors depend on only the first hunt record, so the second record could be even just a yellow hunt (very unlikely though).
red dot color = 1st place record

No not really. Red dot with ! mark means you are about to kill number of creatures equal or more than previous record. And if the numbers are just matched, no record for you, because "first come, first served record.." rule.

So no dot can really grant you a record, you have to check the number of the creatures for your level and faction at the top hunters page.
If there are no records set for a particular type of creature (quite frequent at combat lvl 14/15), the default is yellow dot. So you can beat a yellow dot hunt and still get a record.
thank you guys. question is answered as far as i get it. thread locked as well.
