Flying units do not pass through fire walls without getting damaged.
Submit a proper report. Videos are not accepted as evidence. Provide combat log. |
Ok here is the link:

It shows both, druids go through firewall without being burned and also sprites flies through firewall without being burned, but I meant its ok, because it make sense, fire is on the ground so if flying unit doesnt stop on burned field it can get through untouched. |
That's a genius way to win a battle vidlak, it works very well indeed |
Topic moved from "Problems and errors (general)" to "Combat problems". |

for jahadad:
From https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=31
Deals fire damage to any non-character units found in the zone during its triggering.
The triggering occurs when:
a)The spell is cast;
b)A unit moves into the fire wall zone;
c)A unit stays in the fire wall zone at the end of its turn.
In the match, there is a point where a druid walks through a firewall (ie, from outside a firewall, into a firewall and then out again)without taking damage. This is when the caravan's druids are out of shot and were approaching the earth elemental and just after the first of the 3 firewalls in front of the earth elemental ends (Fire wall right of the elementals and south of the treefolk ends, 1 stack of druids walk up, avoiding all firewalls , then a seco9nd stack walks through firewall right of treefolk without damage).
Please also take note that a few rounds before this, a stack of druid walked through a firewall and into another and took damage for both (The first ever stack of druids to approach the earth elementals stack) But through the game, the sprites only take damage when they end their movement in a firewall hex, before they attack, not when they move through).
I believe the bug is that the triggering (for moving) is only calculated IF the end square is a Firewall hex and it factors in other firewall hexes that were previously walked through, but not if the final hex moved to is a clear hex. |
thanks takesister for the correction
I was a 100% sure that I was right -_- |
