i am not sure which level it was as i had no combat to check :D
but the merc quest where you travel to misty lake to deliver cargo, i did this once without a fight triggering .. got there, delivered cargo, returned, got reward..
a clanmate said same happened to him ..
i think there is just a combat missing from a specific level of these merc quests

It is not a bug, it happens sometimes, there is a chance of not getting ambushed |

if your previous brigand was {10} (example), you take this merc quest (whats supposed to be brigands {11} and they dont attack you, then the next time you take that quest it is a brigands {12}
So yes... it is a free MQ point, but you dont get the exp and fsp from that combat. |
| not a bug they were waiting on map but somewhere else if u cared enough u would find where they were waiting for u eventualy. this happened to me ttons of times and every time i found where they were waiting even though sometimes it takes quite alot traveling. |
