Author | 2 elements as reward |
after reachin mg 4 i have done about 62 quest nut not got till now up to 2 elements as a reward what's the matter? |
It happens on random, so don't worry : )
For example, on .ru server, sometimes it takes 100 or 200 missions to get 2 element at once |
The way the system works, you get an Element about 20% of the time.
If you are entitled a second Element AND if you have received an Element, the game system checks if you can receive another (again with 20% chances).
So in the end...
If you are MG 3 or lower:
- Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting one element: 20%
If you are MG 4 or higher:
- Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting one element: 16%
- Chances of getting two elements: 4%
Hope this helps! |
Slight corrections
If you are MG 4 or higher:
- Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting at least one element: 20%
- Chances of getting two elements: 4% |
- Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting at least one element: 20%
- Chances of getting two elements: 4%
How is it logical that they total up to 104%? |
Mercenaries' guild: 4 (842) +158
none double drops yet :( so you are not alone, 242 without :P |
- Chances of getting at least one element: 20%
- Chances of getting two elements: 4%
it says atleast, 2 are counted in on that ;) |
as straws i was thinking the same |
My bad! Well cause Kotrin wrote 1 element. |
He he, overkill :)
It is roughly
If you are MG 4 or higher:
- Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting one element: 16%
- Chances of getting two elements: 4%
The chance of getting 2 elements includes the chance getting 1 (so it sums up to 20%) plus the 4% chance to get a second one. |
Ehm, one question now that I see it.
The chance of getting a second element is 4% based on the overall missions accomplished or is it that if you get an element you have a 4% chance to get a second one? |
for Erekose:
Said to be another 20% chance if you were to receive a first one, though statistically it seems to be a lot lower. |
for Straws:
Thanks :)
If that's the case, the right answer is :
If you are MG 4 or higher:
- Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting one element: 16%
- Chances of getting two elements: 4%
or
If you are MG 4 or higher:
- Chances of getting zero element: 80%
- Chances of getting one element: 20%
- Chances of getting a second element: 4% |
Yeah, sorry I wasn't more clear... the point I was trying to convey is that the chance of getting at least one element remains 20%. The chance of getting 2 elements is 4%. |
267 quest and only 1 double elements at me :(
Maybe it's programmed this way 20% chance for an element and on the top of it 4% chance for a second one so its cummulatively much less than 20% chance for a double element. |
well when you complete a MG quest you have 80% chance of nothing...
then 20% chance of getting 1 element and then there is 4% chance of getting second
so technically its 4% chance of getting elemtns out of 20% so its (4/100)*20 = 0.8% chance = 200 mg quests aprox be patient you will get it some day... there are people who have gotten it |
267 quest and only 1 double elements at me :(
I'm slight better; 2 double element in 333 quests... =/
The first double in 163th quest... |
my first double was 1 day ago at quest no.852 |
I guess I was extremely lucky since I got my first double at 609. |
Allright, seems to be going a bit off topic here.
To sum it up, it's about 4% chance to get a "double", so it's not surprising if they're rare.
Locking. |
