no matter what browser you are using, installing flash player plugin on 64-bit Ubuntu is a little tricky task. if this is your case, you might find this help site useful:

there was a problem on mandriva 2010 too, but after some updates which were automatic it works good but not best
i changed in my home computer to icewm x-graphics, and it works fine, but on pure kde there are still little problems
i have other distribution but i think its about KDE little bug, i write irc support channel and they didnt know how to help about several months ago
if You have pulse audio try to turn it off, it helped me much in KDE, try to use support, they rly want to help
