Is it possible to use an alternative form of online graphic besides Flash? I log on from my iPhone while outdoors and it's a pity users like me cannot view certain media. I'm not trying to be Apple-friendly but I've also read on other portable devices having difficulty running Flash content, on occasions draining battery life like crazy.
Are any alternatives available for the game to be run in mobile mode? |
Not really. Flash is already compatible friendly format that utilizes low power and has a wide range of applications. This is why flash has became so mainstream.
Mobiles are dependent on poor battery technology, have low computing power, and are extremely incompatible with other technology.
I honestly don't see the admins changing the battles so that they are mobile-friendly. |
I agree with that honestly. Though I harbour some hope, that some parts of the game like enrolls and viewing talents and creature displays can be viewed from mobile devices. Just my thought :) |
Complain to your iPhone. He's the one not allowing flash. |

Its not a matter of complaining, its just an idea and query if there are any alternatives available other than Flash to be used on the site besides battle/cards gameplay. |
Not to mention flash is a resource hog - it uses your CPU instead of GPU, and uses up a LOT of it. Not to mention tournaments or group fights - even setting the detail level to "low" doesn't help much when there are 6 players or a mountain of corpses on the field. People that still have average single-core processors are in for a tough time. It would surely be nice to see an alternative.
Does anyone know any specifics about MS SilverLight? I haven't really used it, but read some comparison reviews stating, that it's more efficient than flash in some areas. |
why complaining about how flash player doesn`t get installed in your mobile, instead of asking to have a no flash player needing battle
well, maybe we can have an option to play the combat without pictures, like in personal settings this option would provide us with the ability to play combt and all what we get is like:
shrews moved from square XX to square XX,and the same for damage and perishes
like that in mobiles we can do battles easily ,and have an even less data to load, which makes the AFK rate decreases rapidly
or the same option but the battle map appears and only names appear no creatures no character no nothing, like a simple chess....
it is like loading pages, takes some time but cans surly kill the labor penalty :) |
#8 I was never complaining, just seeking an alternative. Hope there isn't a misunderstanding on that :)
Yes the idea is just to create an alternative way (mobile) to play this game. People like me who are frequently out and about would really feel appreciated as we too can enjoy the game while outdoors. :) |

Flash devices:

Yes, unfortunately the lists on there are either:
a.) exotic devices
b.) expensive
c.) only works in places like Japan.
I would like an alternative as well. I can only play this from my desktop. |
I wish I wish I wish. just to be able to enroll again from my iPod |

Ah, we're not the only ones then :)
Let's either hope Apple and Adobe work out their differences, or admins do give an option of an alternate media graphic in place of Flash.
Both seems quite unlikely IMHO. Oh well. |
