First of all I really dont understand why topic is obsolete after week of no posting. Its really stupid to start again and again new topics.
So this one prolongs these topics

I have one hypotesis in my caravans studying:
- I have won DE caravan and got 13.854 points
- Then I lost 4 times this type of caravan which I previously won.
- After 4 losses I won this type again and got 13.316 points
As Im ambushing still in same arts and points depends on arts and strenght of caravan it seems according to scores that:
Increasing rate after won = approximately 4 x decrease rate after loss
And as I wrote in previous topics, that decrease rate after loss is something about 2,5% my hypothesis is:
decrease rate = 2,5% and increase rate = little less than 10%
I cant prove it, but my research still continues:) |
Wow... if that's true then the sustainable win rate is only 20%. Previous estimates were around 40%. |
It might have changed with the update. |
You guys might be on to something. Look at marked_one's combat log:
https://www.lordswm.com/pl_warlog.php?id=4315096
He does pretty much exclusively TG, he always wears the same arts and loses a lot more than he wins. I'm too lazy to do the math but that looks closer to a winning percentage of 20% than 40%. I understand that he is playing as a necro right now, but I think everyone's caravans got harder after the update. When I play as a Knight, I often face impossible caravans that take several defeats to bring down to a manageable size. |
Umm i do not think so guys . Check out my combats , i lost a lot before in min ap and now my win loss rate is around 35% . |

I lost almost 400 caravans in a row (only 5 wins within) and my won ratio from all caravans I did is still over 55%, so I think its better to consider whole progress:) |

could you please post the links of these two battles you won?
because if in your second win, there was more low tier creatures than in your first win, this is quite normal. the base for calculating XP is HP killed. |
#10
First win - 13.854 points, 17.799 HP
Second win - 13.316 points, 18.718 HP
So more HP brought less XP so there is no continual proportion between HP and XP:)
Both caravans were similar:
1. caravan (13.854 points)
74 Rogues
51 Shrews
31 Lizard Cavalry
20 Lizard Assailants
158 DW
5 Minotaur soldiers
24 Tamed Minotaurs
2. caravan (13.316 points)
184 Rogues
42 Lizard Cavalry
42 Hydras
120 DW
20 Minotaur soldiers
14 Tamed Minotaurs |

1. caravan = 17 831 hit points
2. caravan = 18 718 hit points
very similar HP means very similar XP, but not necessary similar difficulty.
you had a lot of hydras in 2nd, so a lot of xp for lower caravan difficulty. 1 hydra gives same amount of xp as 1 dark witch, but they are differently calculated in matter of caravan difficulty. |

i think i am with vidlak there...my overall ratio is around 50-55 % i think, i have done 3 weeks thieving in min arts, now i am back to steel. |
I think its easier to use data from a noob like me ;)
Much smaller caravans. I just browsed to the last several pages of my combat log and only looked at the caravan of knights with farmers / recruits on the outside and monks all around it. The information:
First one, lost, total hp=4722:
3 stacks - 222 farmers
1 stack - 54 recruits
12 stacks - 65 monks
Second one, lost, total hp=4498:
1 stacks - 175 farmers
3 stack - 120 recruits
12 stacks - 57 monks
Third one, lost, total hp=3986:
2 stacks - 128 farmers
2 stack - 57 recruits
12 stacks - 58 monks
Fourth one, won, total hp=3543:
3 stacks - 45 farmers
1 stack - 37 recruits
12 stacks - 58 monks
Fifth one, won, total hp=4134:
3 stacks - 171 farmers
1 stack - 26 recruits
12 stacks - 61 monks
Sixth one, lost, total hp=4658:
2 stacks - 197 farmers
2 stack - 69 recruits
12 stacks - 64 monks
After the first battle (loss) hp decreased with 4.74%
After the second battle (loss) hp decreased with 11.38%
After the third battle (loss) hp decreased with 11.34%
After the fourth battle (win) hp increased with 16.98%
After the fifth battle (win) hp increased with 12.67%
so most likely it is not based on the total hp, because the variation is way too large. (4.74% => 11.34% for a loss and 12,67% => 16,98% for a win) |
