Pang is slowly renaming all faction topics to such a 'silly' long topic name that it will make things very hard to read:
All about Necro faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
All about Dark Elf faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
All about Barbarian faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
All about Knight faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
All about Wizard faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
All about Elf faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
All about Demon faction: Stats, Talent, Tactics, Strategy
How easy is that going to be when searching for the right FAQ thread when he 'converts' all faction threads.
What do you think? Am i too lasy to ready and search all the words to read the thread I want?
Or is Pang's legacy to rename threads is making our life 'easier'?
P.S: I purposely seperated sentences by a space to simulate the way the forum looks when searching for a thread.

It's by far better for people to ask each question in a separate topic no matter about what faction the question is. It is by far easier to look for a question already posted if you see each topic separately. It is by far easier to see the feed back on your question if all questions are in separate topics. why not open topic´s like Necro Guide,Demon Guide and so on and open a next topic for special kind of playing a char like Necro Hunter Guild,Demon Hunter Guild and so on ... another one could be Necro Groupbattle Guide, Duel Guide, Tournament Guide, mercenary Guide..in that way you can search a specific Guide for your Interesst | | I agree with Darksooth - also it might be better to have separate forums for each faction and then more specific threads so it would be easier to navigate. | i dont like pang

| I think a couple other people may have already said this, but i didn't understand what they meant at first glance. I think that rather than having necromancer threads in the general forum, they should just have a Necro Forum which would have any questions about necromancing in it. Of course, this would work for all factions, not just necros :P
Just like the section on the "forum" page- main forums, technical forums, etc. There could be a "faction" section. This would make it easy and quick to find needed information on factions. | it might be better to have separate forums for each faction and then more specific threads so it would be easier to navigate.
we mods already suggest on 'having separate sub forum on each faction' since loooong ago in our mod forum. so, every faction can be focus on its topic without generate another hundred or million topic in QaH or GGF. also, it can be easy to search and moderate.
but, it is the matter on whether admin implement or not. before that, ALL forum mod were agree that using current setup for each faction which is open 1 topic in GGF and stick with it.
as for personal legacy? well, you can have yours while i dont have one on myself.

You dont even have to read it ;) As soon as you see 'necro' or 'knight' you just click. I don't think there is anything wrong with Pang's 'renaming'. | as far as I can see, afew people have suggested the same thing - namely, having separate forums for the factions.
But since that is something Admin has to do (as Pang explained #11), Pang has simply tried to improve things by creating new threads with similar titles, to replace obsolete threads and threads that have all different titles. That is actually to make it easier for us to identify our faction threads.

well, yes, perhaps that's a good way to sort thing out with more simplified version of title.
but, the point in this topic are:
- someone think that i want to shut down all factions' topics.
- someone think that i want to lock all non-obsoleted faction topic.
- someone think that i m going to make my own rules in GGF.
the questions are:
- did i go in factions topic and say: 'hey, the topic title isnt nice. so i want to locked this and create a new topic with better name.'
- did i go in factions topic and say: 'dont discuss in this topic. let it obsoleted, so i can create a new topic.'
- did i go post in forum to say: 'i m the boss now, all of you must obey my rules.'
i just wonder is there any 'yes' for the questions stated above?

to standardize the title of all faction topic, i did try to make the all topics look similar. i do admit on the 'renaming' but not with any bad purposes. it will be just make thing easier for players to search.

I can not read who this someone you are refering to in this topic.
As I suggested in post 3, I agreed with your renaming (I RE-used most of your words) but before you finish 'converting' all the remaining faction topics, why not make it easier to read?
2-3 sec to read a sentence is LONG...
Personal experience: I get tired reading a long-winded, illegible, confusing, ungramatical, 'barely' English sentences that takes 2-3 sec to read (not saying that Pang's renaming is all of that)... consequently, my students' reports get scored 'less-mercifully'.
lol try to write a 'catch' sentence / topic / idea that takes 2-3 sec to read in your CV... lol

i dont have perfect english and dont expect everyone have too. yet, we are not having english class here. so, as long as it is understandable, i dont really concern on an 'exact correct' english :) | Maybe this could have all been sorted a lot more easily via personal mails?
To me the title is irrelevant as I have spent most of the time since I started playing learning to filter out all the "about xxx faction" threads as I find it impossible to find anything useful in them. As I result I guess I spend around 0.0001s to see / categorise / ignore them all.
Having the "almost" same title makes this easier for me to ignore them as a group. | | A level 11 still needing those topics, *hihi* |
