For you it would be DE anyway, because you don't have faction skill in other factions.

All factions are good and well-balanced. It's how you use them and what your person preference of tactics are.
DE and barb are good and since you have practiced on them extensively, you should find them good for what you want |

| Because its our nature. Factions are more balanced since the latest updates. I would agree they are/were well-balanced, though perfect-balance can never be achieved unless there is only one faction or single type of battle. |

Have you looked at the complaints after the new updates? I don't know how you can tell the game becomes more balanced. If you do have some evidence, please show me.
I know the administrators are trying very hard to balance the game, but...
There is even no 1v1 tournament. Maybe the administrators are afraid that if some faction turns out to be the best in 1v1, then most people will switch to that faction. |

| Maybe you can view the result of the last minor tournament over Russian server (yes, they have had quite a few). Top places do have a variety of races on the higher levels. Though I can't speak more since I wasn't a part of it. |
