Last picture.
With paint ive set all the numbers on it.
The number represents the range. So if you 4, it means that with a range of 4, that will be in range, everything higher or without a number is out of range.
Now those skeletal dragons are number 7. However when I did hover my mouse over them it said they were in range....
As you can see in the battle my crossbowmens range was 6, and not 7 because of some artifact.

Shooting range of 6 doen't correspond with moving range of 6. It's a bit larger. |

Interesting. I didn't know that either. It appears that shooting range uses the exact, Pythagorean distance formula, instead of the simple formula used by movement range. |
