This will most likely not be implemented since it would allow cheaters to create a character, transfer everything to the main character, then remove the extra character without any trace.
Deleting a character creates a major book-keeping issue when cheating is concerned.
Just stop playing the character and create a new one. No need to delete. |

What if they really like their name and don't want to change it? Maybe their name is somewhat famous and they would like to keep their status in the community. In any case, we weren't talking about deleting chars, just deleting their past (and Sven91's idea of a 72-hour buffer period would be long enough for the mods to check out the soon-to-be-restarted chars' past). I know it would be extra work for them, but that shouldn't discourage anyone.
On a side-note: there could be special regulations, such as impossibility of restarting your char as long as you have active loans, auctions etc. |
