Based on what I know, the ambushers will only ambush you if you walk through a certain 2 regions, as if some player laid an ambush between 2 regions. This ambush is determined when you accept the quest.
If you do not walk between the 2 regions, you won't get ambushed.
Or at least that's what Arctic tells me. |
