AuthorTraining battles and training hunts
It's just a suggestion but training battles could really help.
It should be just like normal battles only no durablity lost and no xp/sp gain and if you lose a 'training battle' its not counted as loss.

For training hunts; it would work like this: you could fight ... of that type creature, to see how much you can kill of them. After you've done the battle you know if you should attack/ask for assist/pass by depending if you lost or won the training hunt.


This would help people to try/share tactics, see of they would win/lose pvp battles or hunts. There would be a special 'Training Room' for this.

I appreciate both critical suggestions as positive suggestions. Just post what you think.
I think that's a good idea. Yeah it would really help low level players. I give you a +

I completely agree with this idea. It would be great just for fun battles and experimental battles, so people don't lose arts fighting enemies they can't win and so people can experiment with the strengths or limits of the faction.

I would also suggest that after a training battle, your army/mana is recovered faster than after a normal batle, or perhaps it is not even depleted at all.

I think it is a good idea:D but then you should also be abel to changerace in the traning room:D(and only in the traning room)

Any other suggestions to make this idea better?
I reckon there should be 3 types of battles in the training room:

1, Training hunt- You select the creatures you want to fight and the number of them, and you fight them with the computer controlling them, useful to see your limit in how many you can fight and test a hunt you aren't sure you can do.
2, Training player battle- Like with group battles, players get together and fight with, to try out different tatics, arts or just for fun.
3, Customized training- This is the big one. You can select whatever troops you want and how many, and you can also select whatever troops you want your allies or enemies to have, and the computer controls all other characters beside you. This would be good for testing different factions, combinations or just for pure fun.

As well as this, perhaps on the training hunts there could be a listed record of the most of that type of creature any one at certain lvls or factions has been able to take down. This would not only give a guideline to each factions limits, it would also encourage competition between players.

Note: Although I think that a training room would be absolutely great, it would take alot of effort to create.

(alot of them have names like noob_0 noob_1 and etc.)

To Ivo999- Ppl wouldn't just choose 9999 shrews for their battles in the customized training, because they'd win easily and get nothing for it. It would just be a complete waste of time.

Not perhaps but MUST . :) so the mana and troops recovered not depleted at all .. ^^
You're right, the more I think about it, the only way it would be successful if the troops weren't depleted at all.

The training room would be great and just giving people something to do when waiting for mercenary quests or whatever, so it would have to be as easy to use as possible and with as little consquences as possible from using it.

As well as this, I think that there shouldn't be any punishment for going afk in the training room either, as that will put people off using it easily.

also it would be a fun waste of time and might teach u something that would come in handy later anyways
like wut unit is highest priority and that... good for when u reach new lv n get new unit n that...

(priority isnt a tier thing btw id love it if they chased my ogres and left orcs be)
I agree with that idea, but I would make it only possible to set whatever enemies you want fight. Your troops would be as normal. :)
