when i get enough money, what should i buy for thieving?
Full thief arts:
cost - 335,000
i will get +25% ini, 7 defence, 4 atack, 1 luck, 1 morale, +1 speed to all of my troops, 10% ini to my hero, and _20% damage taken.
or
Full steel set:
cost - 120,000
i will get +1 luck, 2 morale, 15 defence, 6 atack, 3 ini, and 25% air magic proof. |
and _20% damage taken.
that's supposed to be -20% damage taken. sorry for double post |

Spell Power: 0
Knowledge: +1
Luck: 0

Initiative: 0%
if i get the thief arts then i'll have:
Attack: +15
Defence: +8
Spell Power: 0
Knowledge: +1
Luck: 1
Morale: +3
Initiative: 25%
if i get the steel arts i will have :
Attack: +17
Defence: +16
Spell Power: 0
Knowledge: +1
Luck: 1
Morale: +4

| I agree with Takesister. The increased initiative will let you destroy your opponent. Plus you will get the greatest use out of your shrews. Since they are the first to get killed & the biggest damage dealer you have. |

The problem with your steel set is that it lacks initiative. Inititive is important when you encounter thief hunters (who are usually DEs like you).
IMO, the steel set is good enough for thieving. But, you should ditch the +1 luck for pendant of despair, and +1 morale for the ring of abdication. This way, you can at least take on thief hunters who usually come with +15% ini, on equal grounds :) |

At lvl 8 with 0 TG you should be able to easily handle most computer controlled caravans. |
