Hi all,
I'm thinking of registering an alternate character. Not sure I will, coz I might spend even more time here. haha.. But just in case I do, I ahve a Q -
1) Can I play/log in 2 characters at the same time, 1 on each window? No interaction/transfers between them, just enrol for work, do hunts and whatever separately, as though they don't 'know' each other?
2) And since I have 2 PCs in my room (same IP), log in to 1 each at the same time?
I'm asking coz to log in and out between characters can be time consuming, and not to mention that I have seen a lot of players accidentally post in forums forgetting they are using their alternate character, probably as a result of switching characters too much. :p
Thanks in advance. | 1) It wont work in one browser. Open two kinds of browsers and it is allowed.
2) No need afaik, just use two browsers.
and the last part must be me hehe :P | 1: you can log your extra char from a different browser, a new tab doesn't do the trick.
as long as you are there are no common battles and card games, it's allowed to log in at the same time.
2:if you have 2 pcs, you can log in from each, but why take the trouble when 2 browsers do the trick! | 1) I see nothing preventing that as long as you follow the rules of non-interaction. Just remember which is your main and which is your alt, and don't forget you can only post with your main on the forums.
2) As above. | Ahh.. ok. Thanks all. Tha clears up everything. I'll leave this open for a few hours just in case, I (or anything else) have anymore related Qs before I lock it.
