AuthorCastle abilities as a necromancer

As a necromancer at level 5 I should be able to get vampires when I get the correct amount of gold, wood and ore. I have the correct gold, wood and ore but for some reason I cannot get the vampires! Can anyone help?

you need 10 mercury not 10 ore
