| What about making a rule 'bout the religion, like no saying "OMG" or somewhat, please implement this. it's no big thing, but very very bad thing. I don't want people nor me myself being a racist. Please implement this rule. The kids here have a good future in theirself. |

| Seriously, your post is on religion, not sensitivity. In any case... Based on post 1, I conclude that you're a muslim. I do have a bone of contention against racism, but "OMG" is not considered a racist remark. Its more akin to a terminology used to express feelings of awe. The user of the acronym "OMG" can be within the context of your own God anyway. I'm a freethinker btw, so rest assure that I'm not speaking up for any religion nor race. |

| I cannot see how you can complain about religion when your character icon is an anthropormorphic devil . Plus, why would this be offensive to anyone? if so you might as well tell people off for saying anything which could offend anyone in the slightist way possible. I only find something offensive if people intentend for it to be ofensive, but "OMG" is just someone expressing how they feel at that moment, which isnt offensive. Its just silly really. |

If you post something in Ideas and Suggestion expect it to be commented, both negative and positive comments. Believe it or not, keep in mind you can't succeed in life if you can't expose to ANY negative comments. Learn to live with it, I'm just saying the fact. The fact I'm often bugging your threads is you are making mistakes, is there anything wrong with people correcting you? Learn to tolerate it and benefit from it later on. |

I think OMG has many meanings.
Some people said it because other people tell them that OMG means shocked or frustrated.
Some people don't really know the meaning. They were taught by other people.

I find this thread kind of funny. Terengganu who doesn't believe in God finds the saying "oh my god" offensive. Christians who do believe in God also find the saying "oh my god" offensive. (Because its taking God's name in vain.)
Anyways, its just an expression that is common in the United States that means what PFrenzy said. |
