I know there have been many posts on people going afk in group battles before but feel this just shows the strength of players opinion on this.
I have two suggestions which would make things a lot better and hope the admins will give it proper consideration.
a) If a player goes afk in a group battle or hunt support. Still give the same number "waits", however on the final one instead of all the troops being killed would it be possible to let AI take over these units so team members are not at such a disadvantage? Still give the afk player 0 xp & skill and -2 luck for 2 hours.
b) It seems that a small number of players continually go afk while the majority play the game properly. Could the penalty be adjusted according to frequency of going afk in the past 7 days? e.g.
first time = -2 luck for 2 hours
2nd = -2 luck for 4 hours and -level*200 gold
3rd = -2 luck for 6 hours and -level*1 racial & hunt skill points
Just a suggestion and it does not really matter what the penalties are as long as they increase the more someone does this?

I see a few players who create a group battle just before they go offline for the day so the -2 luck has expired by the time they next log on and they effectively get no punishment.

I hope the admins give these suggestions serious consideration as this is one of the major issues which spoils game play. | So you have acknowledged that many other players have already suggested this, So why haven't you figured out that after all of these suggestions, Admins WON'T be making a change to the AFK penalty?
Let everyone hear this! Stop posting to try and get the AFK penalty changed... If the Admins wish to change it, they will!!! If you want to avoid AFK's in group battles, DON'T play them. Simple as that. | If you want to avoid AFK's in group battles, DON'T play them.
Or play w/reliable teammates (your friends, clanmates, etc)
