Author | Creating a challenge, then going AFK |
I have basically given up on dueling lately, because if I accept someone's challenge 9 times in 10 they either (a) refuse to fight me or (b) they are AFK and don't accept the challenge.
Whereas with group battles, once people sign up it's going to happen, guaranteed. I like that, and something similar should apply to duels.
Once a challenge has been accepted, start the timer. A play has 3 minutes (or 5 minutes, if you're really worried about it) to accept or refuse the fight. If that time passes, the fight starts up anyway.
Yes, there would be a few pointless battles. But I think this would also largely prevent a lot of the AFK challengers out there. Why post a duel challenge if you're not going to be hitting 'refresh' every 30 seconds or so?? | I just think you should be able to cancel GB's, or change their description at least. Sometiems i have to go AFK, so canceling works, or changing the description to "AFK DON"T JOIN!" would work also. canceling is also convient when ur tired of waiting and want to do ur hunt or something. | If that happens, why don't you just make a challenge...
And Xerfer, if there is an option to cancel GBs, there would never be a game because the creator would always think that somethings uneven. Besides, 3-5 minutes isn't that long of a wait. | 3;
then u create it. and no, high levels it always starts everyone wants to play and plus its random so nothings unfair til it starts.
30 minutes is a long wait | 2 - Thank you, but I'm not worried about group fights, this was more about ppl creating duels and then not checking them for 5 or 10 minutes (which I think is rude and unnecessary). Also, 3 is right about canceling group fights - if you could cancel, ppl would cancel if they thought things weren't turning out well for their side during setup.
3 - Thank you, I do create duels, but that doesn't solve the problem if I see a duel I want to accept. | why not try : cancel option becomes available after 60% of the time has passed and less than 25% of participants have joined.
might save you some trouble |
