I read this thread:
https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1832909
While it was a good starters read, i still have some questions:
does the "10% scattered from the start line" mean basically that all creatures start with something ranging from -0.5 to 0.5 initiative? or was it meant 10% in both directions, meaning from -1 to 1?
These rules apply only to hero-controlled units? because i could swear that neutrals always move from top to bottom (which contradicts the 10% rule).
also, is are there any means to influence initiative by positioning? meaning if i have 2 stacks of identical creatures, can i put them so that one will attack first?
i hope my questions are clear and dont violate any rules... | oh forget my statement about neutrals ignoring the rule, they may obey it, but it does seem very often that that start from top to bot (not always...) | oh crap, sorry for spam, but i cant edit...
in the first question, with 10%, i meant for exaomple for a creature with 10 initiative. with other values for initiative it would be obviously different values... | well, my druids have an initiative of 11 and sometimes monsters with an initative of 10 go before my druids
so 10% under and above your initiative is a bit random for the first turn in a battle
also, is are there any means to influence initiative by positioning? meaning if i have 2 stacks of identical creatures, can i put them so that one will attack first?
no, but you can defend with one stack and wait with the other stack
(2 times waiting is the same as defending on the ATB bar, so waiting is like your next turn in half of the time) |
