AuthorHow is the penetration from Jewelry enchantmet counts?
aside from dark elf's magic penetration, enchantment from Jewelry also have penetration on the opposite field.
So if my Jewelry have both 40% enchantment in earth and air magic, which count for 40% enhancement of each and 20% penetration on earth and air also. So my question is, how is this penetration count, does it work on the opposite enchantment on the armor only, or also works on the all-field resistance such as from barbarian's racial ability, equipment, monster's own resistance and hero's talent?
1) The maximum enchantment percentage for Jewelcrafting is 20% additional damage and 10% ignoring the counter magic shield. If you have 2 of those maximum enchantments on two artifacts, their combined effect isn't additive, you won't get 40% an 20%, but 36% and 19% respectively.

2) The piercing effect is described with the name "Ignore % [element] shield". That's the only thing it does. It will not penetrate through the universal Magic shield, nor through other sorts of magic resistance, including "Immune to [element]".
As an example, the Fire enchantment on a ring that grants "ignore X% water shield" will break through water enchantments on armor, but will not break through Enchanted Gargoyles' "Immune to water", nor through Unicorns' "Aura of magic proof".

Whereas DEs' "Piercing" racial ability penetrates all and every sort of magical resistances :)
