Author'Anti-factions' discussion
I am a level 8 wizard, who has not beaten a barbarian in PvP since level 5, I think. The barbs' racial skill makes them every wizard's nightmare; what is the 'anti-faction' for the other factions?
for a DE there is no anti faction , i think for u try to block orcs with small stack of gargs, hit wolfs with magies , attack them when approach with genies don't do spell on them , and about ogres deal with them with magical punch and then run all the time with ur garg :P
what is the 'anti-faction' for the other factions?
Wiz in triple minifull, for everyone 'cept barbs :)
a demon at really high levels is an elves worst night mare =D
DE -> babarian/Wizard.Coz our racial:Priece magic.As for wizard,golem 50 % sheild dont work well on it.Thus genies is easily kill by shrews.

Knight->elf.Coz swordsman is terrify to druid and elven.

Elf->DE it seem.Unless the DE is magician.Fighter class DE is really getting nightmare from Elf.

Demon->Nercomancer .All you gonna do is just suck suck suck suck with spawn.(All dead coz nerco army is kinda suck without resurrection.)

Babarian->Wizard(Like you said)

magic piercing is too weak against barbarians.
i would say barbarians are magic DE's nightmare, because of magic proof.
barbarian's racial ability (magic proof) gives them a bonus against our spells, DE's racial ability don't give us a bonus: it only reduces a little bit barbarian's bonus against us.
but barbarians still have a bonus against DE (a little bit reduced by DE's faction level), and DE have nothing.
it would be better for DE if they had no racial ability, and barbarians too: our spells would deal full damages instead of reduced damages.
magic proof>>>>magic piercing.

against wizards...magic is used on magis, not on golems. magic piercing is useless.
and wizards have magical mirror on their talent wheel: very strong against a magic DE.

DE don't have racial ability: magic piercing is totally useless for might DE, and extremely weak for magic DE.
DE's faction skill points are useful for increasing attack, defense and initiative, that's all.


if you say: DE > barbarians and wizards because of shrews, or because of hydras...it may be true, i don't know.
but you can't say that magic DE > barbarians and wizards because of magic piercing.
barbarians and wizards > magic DE because of magic proof and magical mirror.
Elf->DE it seem.Unless the DE is magician.Fighter class DE is really getting nightmare from Elf.

hey karsot don't dream to kill a barb at level 6 , it is too hard for us to kil them at level 6 but at level 7 with rogues u will rule, only elves will be a problem for u , go to level 7 and u will show everyone what a DE is .. so as for level 8 the most powerfull is DE .
rashad, i hope i will become stronger at PvP in high levels.
but it will be because of my creatures, not because of magic piercing ;)

knight troops is slow, al wizz do just run his garg around and kill knight troop with their magic

drain mana is not the reason why necro loses to demon. necro even with 100 mana cant do anything bcause after demon get gated he eliminates vamps and ghosts in 1 turn, and blocks scells without huge loses. so no sence in resurecting bcause vamp will be dead again before their turn
elf the same lvl as a knight can easy overpower the knight
at lvl 5 if the knight does not have escort adn the elf has sprites it is a pretty easy win once u kill grifs but most of the time u win even if they have escort and u use fk.


(if u say how would he know he has no sprites i have a lvl 6 multi that got blocked that had sprites lvl 6)

Lvl 5 Necro->Elfs nightmare: I had about 12 elven duels won in a row(no arts), because they simply ran out of arrows without dealing enough damage, with help of skeletals of course.
Lvl 6 Knight->Necro. No way to kill the swordsmen without 4 missed and 1 hit on ghost. :-)
Lvl 6 Wizard->Necro. Absolute killing spree :-)

Hellraiser, I am not so experienced, but I have killed some demons. Split skeletons and take retal from succubi(no need to kill them always, they are low on ammo in 3 turns), after shooting hounds the chances are equal. I would say on lower levels its 50/50..depends on tactics, arts and skill levels..

no chance for necro to beat demon, from my experience

low ammo isnt a problem, succubi 'can' gate, and succubi isnt the main damager in demon's army

after shooting hounds the chances are equal.
half of hounds and another half from gated unit enough to finish vampire/ghost
and remember that we still have 40spawns+gated

skelbow only have 2 chances to shot, before being blocked
Knights : DEMONS and NECROS (Demons coz of the numbers, Necros coz of the Raise of the dead)

Demons : ELVES and DE (Coz of the speed, high damages and Initiatives), For the magic, I think at the VERY FIRST turns, the Mana of the enemies heroes

Wizards : BARBARIAN OFC coz of the magic proof, ELVES and DE (The last 2 coz of the High Init and speed and attack). Honestly the creatures of Wizards are almost NOTHING, coz the Primary skills commonly set to increase the Spell and Mana, then the Att and Def are lack

Elves : KNIGHTS coz of the High Defence, High Attack, high HPs and the Swordsmen have Large Shield, then the Elvens cannot do the BEST DAMAGES on them (I think at level 3 and up, there is no STUPID elves do not bring any Elvens Bowmen or GM Bowmen), The GRIFFONS I think is the greates problem for Elves, coz commonly the FKS or EFKS will die first "eaten" by them, especially if the Griffs have Luck and high morale

Dark Elves : KNIGHTS, High Defence, lack of numbers compared to Knights. And the GRIFFONS once again is the biggest problems, UNLIMITED retal, they kill the Shrews or rogues in one hit, then Just Minos, Lizards and Hydras left behind. The X-Bow will kill them easily coz the Defence of the Guardians guarding the X-Bow is too HIGH for them. Monks is not a big problem for DE I think

Barbarians : ELVES coz of the High Init and The Elvens and GM bowmen always give them BIG troubles. The ogres too slow and the Wolf Riders too weak against FKS or EFKS

Necros : WIZARDS, The MAGIC ARROW simply do much damages to every Necros creatures ... also the Gargoyles are not easy to die coz of the High Defence !

As a knight most of my time,i say the nightmares of knights are Necros:Their ghost are hard to hit and do hi dmg.

Also,elves:Their double-hit bowmen just kill mine outright,and the fk crashes me a little . 3 knights i belive cannot kill 2 elves
barbs can beat knights and and wizards if they didnt have magic resistant they would be unbalanced

You are a knight why wud u be using mini arts ? and sooner or ltr barbs will turn u around
