Author2 questions
hello
I have 2 questions, i hope someone can answer them

If you fight against large creatures (those 2x2 monsters)
and you shoot with archers, if you move your mouse over the first tile of the monster, you see a good arrow, but if you move it over the other tile of the monster, the arrow is broken
So the monster is halfway in the range
So does it really matter on which square you attack for a large creature?

And questions 2
Im almost level 6 and i have a lot of arts and a lot of money
Whats the best way to train the smiths guild ?
question 1: Shoot at the good arrow. For some reason, it actually makes a difference. I've tried it.

question 2: get people to pay you to repair their arts, you'll get the points for free.
1. I know for a fact it doesn't matter on .ru, so it shouldn't matter here too, but better safe then sorry :)

2. Don't train smith guild at all. There are plenty of smiths already, and in the end you'll just waste your gold. It takes a lot more then 150k to reach a point where you're making profit from smithing =/
lol... i just want to do something while im waiting for the next hunt... so im gonna repair items, so i run out of money, so the thieves guild cant steal my money mwahhahaahah =)
no really, i want to train it, dont ask me why, just tell me how :P
and i dont want the enchanters guilds, dont need those bonusses, just smith
2. Shebali is right. it will cost you a lot of money. 120k gold to reach lvl 1 smith to do 20% repair.

anyway, it's your choice. If you really want to become a smith, here is it:
1. reach combat lvl 6, build a blacksmith.
2. have some arts with 0/x durability, then press a botton in you inventory to repair it.

It's simple, but cost a lot of money and time. 1 point in smith guild = 4000 gold = 1 hour.

No 'best' way to train SG I'm afraid :)
1 point in SG costs 4k and takes an hour. Start with repairing your own arts, find some clan that needs a smith (that way you'll have clients and some monetary support) Good luck and have fun, it's your gold after all, so it's completely up to you how to wast... er.. spend it ;)
really, gold isnt the problem
if i really want i can make up to 25k ++ a day
hunts give me lots of money and resources, + many artefacts
i can rent those artefacts for battles and ask them back when they are at 0 for example

and another question
shebali said let other ppl pay for the repair...
i have another character with 30 artefacts and also 150k gold
but can i send the broken artefacts from him and let him pay? like any other player would do that, or is that "against the rules" ?

That's a big no-no.

Not only
3.11. Any transfers, (including those through the market or through a third party), combats (including those with other players involved) and "Two Towers" games between multiple characters of one person are prohibited.

But also
3.13.2. Additional characters are not allowed to enchant or repair other players' items.
3.13.3. Additional characters are not allowed to transfer items for repairing or enchanting.

Also, you should make up your mind which of your chars is main. Having 'my other main is...' won't do.

ok, sorry, changed that now

The price to get to top level smith is 11540000 gold.
If money is no object, why not save up and buy a Thieves Guild Invitation?
Because that's 11 million in repaired items- hopefully you either got money back from the repairs, or you used the equipment.

for 1st post 1st question:
that, i think its for liches. Lets say, the large creat are in 6-7 tiles in front of lich. To use the plague shot if the enemy is behind the large creature(the 8th tiles), if you attack the large creature in front(100% damage), the stack behind it doesn't take damage. But when you click the 7th tiles(50% damage), the stack behind it also take damage.

and about thief, when you have 0 gold and then get ambushed and lost 70 gold, then your gold become -70.

the best way to get train SG fast, is to become blacksmith in a quite a big clan, advertise in forum at a very2 low price, for example 5-10% of repair cost, or even for free. (really, gold isnt the problem)
that way you will reach next level fast
so sorry Shebali
if you thinks that is ads
i just want to tell him my idea
and...
A cheap artefact, lets say the hunter hat
I use it 10 times in a battle, so it becomes 0/10
Then it says repairing cost 400 gold

So i need to pay 400 gold, then wait an hour, and then it is 1/9 right?
And how many smith points does that give me?

And if i do to the artefact shop, buy a sword of might, use it 80 times
then repair it, it costs 11 760, will i get more points from it then the hunter hat?

Or is it relatively the same?
example:
400 gold 0,1 smith point
4000 gold 1 smith point
etc etc

Or is it cheaper to repair cheap or expensive arts?
It's the same.
4000 gold 1 smith point
400 gold 0,1 smith point
etc etc

The more expensive the repair, the more points you get, but in the end 1 SG point costs 4k, and it doesn't matter if you repair Thief amulet or hunter's broadsword.
