I am getting sort of tired of having to wait 2 minutes every time I need to travel somewhere. I don't think it's realistic if you still take 2 minutes about it after you have traveled that route like 50 times.

Here's the idea:

I am introducing this idea having a speed level to speed up the times, when you walk to another location it will give you some speed experience, the more speed experience you have, the higher the level you are. With each level you will the times will get a few % quicker.
Of course this idea will not have any affect in battle and I believe it shouldn't either.

well, walking time is there for a reason, i guess, and that is thief ambush. starting from combat level 6, you can be ambushed when walking between two regions if a thief set an ambush there. and the lower the time needed, the lesser the chance for thieves to actually ambush someone, i think. on the other hand, it would also become more improbable to catch 2 heroes at the same time in an ambush, because lesser players would travel at the same time.
i think right nowe, the game chacks for travellers to ambush every minute or so, shorter traveltuime will ask for more checks on it is bigger server load and all in decrease in performance.

so i you just walk your 2 minutes, other can finish their battles without timeouts.

for thief ambushes, i doubt it would really matter wether the trime would be decreased, just less chance on cathing 2 of them

totally agreed.
Any level 1-5 Hero should be able to travel instantly since he cannot be ambushed anyway!
or maybe just decreasse the time to travel for level 1-5 heroes like 1 minute to travel
