Author | why knight escort not work against hydra? |
escort works on shrew, sprite etc that have no retaliation. Why not on hydra? |
the hydra maybe attacking another target and not the escorted unit... |
+2
hydras do not need 2 2 attack every opponent though it is like battle dance. only target 1 so only get that retaliation |
the hydra maybe attacking another target and not the escorted unit...
even hydra only attack 1 target which was escorted, the escort atk still not work..
i wonder why... |
i do not know why it does not work on hydra, but i am glad about it, i think the knight does not know which head to target |
hydra can attack like battle dance but it tpicks a unit to attack so it might attack the escorted unit but he wolud have to click on the escorted unit |
I think large creatures take up 2 by 2, but really only have one coordinate, so if that coordinate isn't next to the stack being attacked, then escort doesn't work, because if it isn't adjacent, it cannot be attacking. Just a thought- I don't know if this is true anyways. |
well, o really do not know the reason, but i never seen escort work on a hydra, no matter the positioning, and i am sure the escorted stack was attacked (with my own hydras) |
Hydra deals the damage by spray, not by hands or feet. It looks close to your troops, but it's kind of like "range damage".
Your hero always keeps his/her eyes on the hands and feet who is close to the escort target, but doesn't know where is the spray comes from, so he is just keeping looking and thinking.:) |
