Ok,I don't get this.
I'm travelling,all of a sudden a map opens and I have to fight a lvl 7 barbarian and there are 12 monks on my side.
End result I've lost 78 gold,thanks to a fight I didn't desire...
What the hell is up with that? | | as u say. it is a theif from the guild | It can happen when you travel between areas. The thief can set a trap between 2 areas and any traveller with at least 40% health can be ambushed. Since you was only lvl 6 and the thief was lvl 7 you got 12 monks to help your side. Just to make the fight somewhat more fair.
If the thief wins he gets a little bit of gold from you, just see it as something he ''stole'' from you. | Courtesy of Musculus ;)
Well, thing is a thief can't decide whom he ambushes, only if. sometimes I have to fight neutral creatures, sometimes heroes. you had the "luck" to travel when i had an ambush open, so you happened to be trapped by me and, surprisingly, were overwhelmed. I can't say i'm too sorry, because i get a lot more exp for hero battles. i hope the lost 78 gold won't keep you from playing this game. | Think it's terribly lame to allow players to ambush lower level players.

I cannot choose whom or what i ambush. I set an ambush between two regions, and usually i fight against neutral creatures. if any player +/- 2 (6-10 at the moment) of my levels walks between those regions, i have a chance to fight against him/her. and if more than one heroes walks between those regions, i have a chance of ambushing them both at the same time (yes, a 2vs1 fight). or i can meet higher level players. and caravans (neutrals) aren't easy, either.

So why you "had to have your say" is beyond me as I didn't name or blame you.
Just so everything is crystal clear.
What annoyed me was the fact that I was forced to fight a fight I did not want to fight versus a higher level (that i didn't name!) and I lost gold because of it.
The only thing I hold against you is the fact that you,for whatever reason, had to come and brag about it,which I find lame.
